The airmen who flew the tiny L-15s over the Himalayas are simply unsung heros. They flew at altitudes of up to 14,000 ft. with no oxygen and a little bitty engine, overloaded with parts and supplies to keep the famous Flying Tigers and their P-51s flying.

All in all amazing. The rider was no slouch to keep up with the horse.
